David Haberfeld said this in a recent interview for The Guy Who Knows A Guy Podcast. That means that 2020 is a fantastic year for opportunity, but it is also a very challenging year for most of us.
March through May of 2020 were as tough for Michael Whitehouse as anyone, but in June, he pulled back to restrategize. He adjusted his mindset. He learned new marketing skills. He deployed these strategies, and by September, he and his wife were able to move up their plans to buy a house by a year.
In this four part course, he will share all the strategies and tools he deployed to turn 2020 from a crisis to an opportunity.
We'll begin with a live kickoff on Zoom on Tuesday October 27th at 9:00 AM. You will then receive four audio lessons teaching you the lessons you need. They are yours to keep, and you can listen to them as often as you like.
To supplement your learning, Michael will host three Facebook Live Q&As at 11 AM on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of that week.
Course Plan
Lesson 1 - Mindset and Goals
In the first lesson, we'll start with you. If your mindset is wrong, then you could be surrounded by opportunity and miss it all. Once you clarify your goals and adjust your mindset, everything else becomes possible.

Lesson 2 - Solution Oriented Marketing
The game changer in my business was a particular strategy for prospecting, engaging, and selling in way that built trust and authenticity. This system is great for someone who's not a natural salesman because it's about relationships and focusing on how you can solve the other person's problem rather than closing techniques and overcoming objections.
In this lesson you will learn:
- Organic (free) lead generation
- Engage by Chat (setting appointments by Facebook chat)
- Strategy Sessions - a 10 minute call that qualifies and excites prospects
- Collaboration Sessions - a collaborative sales process that makes prospects want to work with you
Lesson 3 - Cold Networking and Email Follow Up
It can be difficult to build your network in the quarantine world, but it is just as vital to create and nurture relationships. We'll discuss strategies for networking in the virtual world as well as how to build email follow up campaigns to nurture and grow those relationships
